These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Just Drive Driving School website and the driving lessons and courses ("Services") we provide. By booking a lesson or using our website, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting a booking form, making a payment, or otherwise engaging our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
2. Eligibility
To book lessons, you must hold a valid provisional or full driving licence for the category of vehicle being taught, and meet the minimum legal age to drive in the relevant category. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian may need to provide consent for certain payment or contractual arrangements.
3. Our Services
We provide manual and automatic driving lessons, intensive courses, Pass Plus training, theory test preparation and related services, delivered by DVSA-approved driving instructors using dual-control vehicles. Prices, package contents and availability are as described on our website at the time of booking and may change from time to time; the price confirmed at booking will be honoured for that booking.
4. Booking & Payment
- Bookings made through our website or by phone are requests and are confirmed once we contact you to arrange a date, time and instructor.
- Payment is due at the time agreed with your instructor or office, by the methods stated on our Prices page.
- Block-booked lessons (e.g. 10-lesson packages) are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase, after which unused lessons may expire.
- Intensive course fees include the described number of lesson hours; the official DVSA test fee is payable separately and directly to the DVSA unless otherwise stated.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand plans change. You may reschedule or cancel a lesson free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed lessons ("no-shows"), may be charged at the full lesson rate, at our discretion, to cover the instructor's reserved time. We will always try to be reasonable in genuine emergencies — just get in touch as soon as you can.
6. Lesson Conduct
For everyone's safety, learners must not attend lessons under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and must follow reasonable instructions given by the instructor during the lesson, who retains dual control of the vehicle at all times. Instructors may end a lesson early, without refund of that session, if a learner's conduct puts safety at risk. We ask learners to treat instructors and vehicles with respect; any damage caused by a learner's negligence may be recharged.
7. Liability & Insurance
All lessons are conducted in fully insured, dual-control vehicles. To the extent permitted by law, Just Drive Driving School is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of our Services, including failure to pass a driving test, which depends on many factors outside our control. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
8. Website Use
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and not to attempt to disrupt its operation, access it using automated means without permission, or submit false or misleading information through our forms. We may suspend or restrict access to the website at any time, for maintenance, security, or other operational reasons.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos and course materials, is owned by or licensed to Just Drive Driving School and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use, but may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
10. Termination
We may decline or discontinue providing Services to a learner at our discretion — for example, in cases of unsafe conduct, non-payment, or abusive behaviour towards instructors or staff — subject to a fair refund of any unused, paid-for lessons where appropriate.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our Services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any statutory rights you may have as a consumer in your place of residence.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
